
Iván Ayon Rivas
IVÁN AYON RIVAS was born in Piura (Perù). At the age of 20 he began his vocal studies, first at the National Music University, later with Juan Diego Flórez and Roberto Sèrvile. In 2016, several competition prizes led to first engagements at different international stages - including La Fenice and Teatro Regio in Turin, where he sang Rodolfo (La bohème) for the opening of the 2016/17 season. Successful appearances at various stages followed as Alfredo (La traviata) and as Rodolfo. In 2018/2019 he sang among others. Fenton (Falstaff) and Duke (Rigoletto) in Turin, La traviata and La bohème at Teatro La Fenice, La bohème and Rigoletto at Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, La traviata at Festival di Macerata, Rigoletto at Teatro Massimo in Palermo and Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Il Corsaro in Modena and a concert at Teatro Real in Madrid. In 2019 followed, among others, Rodolfo at the Bolshoi and in Stuttgart, Alfredo at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and in Tokyo, Giovanna d'Arco in Brussels. In 2020 he sang Tebaldo (I Capuleti e i Montecchi) in Rome, Nemorino in Las Palmas. In 2021 he debuted in Macbeth at La Scala in Milan and sang Faust in Venice in 2022.
