Martin Schläpfer »In Sonne verwandelt«

For his world premiere »In Sonne verwandelt«, ballet director and chief choreographer Martin Schläpfer chooses Beethoven’s 4^th Piano Concerto as his partner: music of sublime beauty and harmony, to which the choreographer, seeking connection and not rupture, responds with pure dance. »As if brushed into space«, the movement language rich in solos and duets responds to the solo piano’s sound and the musical structure of the composition.
