Multilingual subtitles at every seat in the auditorium
At every seat and standing room space in the auditorium, you can follow the performance reading subtitles in eight languages: English, German, Italian, French, Russian, Japanese, Spanish, Chinese. Shortly before the beginning of an opera performance, the system switches automatically from the information programme to the subtitles, or turns off for ballet performances. The information system is available before opera and ballet performances and during the intervals in English and German. Amongst other things, this will include a brief synopsis of the work, the cast of the respective performance, general information and current information as well as the possibility of registering for a newsletter.
It goes without saying that we make every effort to ensure that our more than 2,000 tablets are constantly maintained, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that faults not will occasionally occur. If a fault does occur, please contact our Public Service. We ask for your understanding that, in this case, we will not be able to proportionately refund the price of the ticket.

Enjoy the live stream on your TV, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, in the A1TV Mediabox, on your mobile phone or PC – we will “listen in” and display the right subtitles synchronously. With selected performances you can also read the historic scores – we will turn the pages for you.
