In a separate cycle, we present the two great antipodes Tristan and Isolde and Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg on the one hand and the two "Grail works" Lohengrin and Parsifal on the other, juxtaposing an example from the composer's earlier phase with his last stage work.

At the Vienna State Opera, too, their works occupy an extremely important place in the repertoire and are among the most frequently performed pieces of all.
