Adrian Autard
Tenor Adrian Autard was born in France in 1995. After studying violin and voice at the conservatories of Avignon and Marseille, he began vocal studies in 2019 at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna (MUK) under the tutelage of soprano Prof. KS Linda Watson, earning a Bachelor's degree in solo singing. He then continued his studies in the Master's program in opera, where he performed the role of Tamino (Die Zauberflöte).
Since 2022, he has been a guest at various festivals and opera houses, performing roles such as Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni), Remendado (Carmen), and Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi). In the 2023/2024 season, he appeared at the MusikTheater an der Wien in the roles of Contino Belfiore (La finta giardiniera) and Benvolio (Roméo et Juliette). He is a prize winner of the 6th Concours Opéra Jeunes Espoirs Raymond Duffaut, where he received the award for the best interpretation of the French repertoire, and he was also the recipient of the KS Gabriele Sima Scholarship in 2022. He has participated in various masterclasses, including those with KS Michael Schade, Ian Bostridge, and Francisco Araiza.
Starting in the 2024/25 season, Adrian Autard will be a member of the Opernstudio of the Vienna State Opera.
