Opera School of the Vienna State Opera

Whether it's Carmen, La bohème or Tosca - the children's choir brings a zest to the stage.

The Vienna State Opera enables talented children from the age of 8 to enter the world of opera. On around 100 opera evenings each season, the children of the opera school are in the spotlight on the big stage: as soloists or as a choir. The street urchins in Carmen and La bohème, Charlotte's siblings in Werther, altar boys in Tosca, ..

Performances outside the opera also enrich the work of the Opera School.
