World Ballet Day 2025

On the occasion of World Ballet Day 2025, which has the motto "Access becomes Art", the Vienna State Ballet would like to dedicate this year's contribution to a very special project close to its heart.
Based on his choreography "Strauss 2225: Dances for the Future" created for NEST, the Canadian choreographer Robert Binet, together with the dancers of the Ballet Academy's youth company and those of "Ich bin O.K." - a dance association for people with and without disabilities - developed a choreography in a workshop, which was presented at NEST to great applause.
The creation process and the performance were filmed by videographer Balázs Delbó and his team. The film, which focuses primarily on the topic of inclusion, will be available to view on the Vienna State Ballet's YouTube and Facebook channels from November 12th, which is World Ballet Day this year.
