Gerald Finley

Grammy Award-winning Canadian bass-baritone Gerald Finley is one of the leading singing actors of his generation, performing with the world's finest orchestras, conductors and conductors. His most recent engagements include the role of Iago (Otello) in Munich, on tour in Japan and at the ROH Covent Garden, where he also sang the role of Traveller (Death in Venice). His other recent engagements include Don Alfonso (Così fan tutte) at the Met, King of Scotland (Ariodante) in London, the title role in Dallapiccola's Il prigioniero with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, Chou En-Lai (Nixon in China) at the BBC Proms conducted by the composer and Forester (The Cunning Little Vixen) with the London Symphony Orchestra.
