Frederik Deberdt

Frederik Deberdt was born in Izegem, Belgium. He completed his ballet training at the Royal Ballet School in Antwerp. In 1999, he was a finalist in the Eurovision competition and took part in the Varna International Ballet Competition. In the same year, he joined the Royal Ballet of Flanders as a member of the ensemble.
In 2001, Frederik Deberdt was engaged by the Malandain Ballet Biarritz. Since 2022, he has been working as a ballet master for the company and is responsible for staging Thierry Malandain's works.
