Francesca Cesaro

Italian Francesca Cesaro received her training at Dance Sky Land in Italy, the Académie Princesse Grace – Les Ballets de Monte Carlo, and from 2021, on the eleven programme at the Palucca University of Dance in Dresden. In 2022, she joined the Semperoper Ballet. She will join the corps de ballet of the Vienna State Ballet for the 2025/26 season.

Her repertoire includes roles in David Dawsonʼs Romeo and Juliet and The Four Seasons, Aaron Watkinsʼs The Sleeping Beauty and La Bayadère (after Marius Petipa), Johan Ingersʼs A Swan Lake and Peer Gynt and Frederick Ashtonʼs The Dream. She has also performed in works by Jiří Bubeníček, Sharon Eyal and George Balanchine, among others.

Her awards include first prizes at the Concorso DenStar in 2016 and 2017.
