The American soprano Emily Pogorelc is praised by critics and audiences alike for her distinctive voice and captivating stage presence. Not yet thirty years old, she is already regarded as one of the most exciting artists of her generation, appearing regularly on many of the world’s leading stages.

In the 2025/26 season she made her house and role debut at the Zurich Opera House as Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier. Engagements include Pamina in Die Zauberflöte at the Mozart Week in Salzburg. Returning to the Bavarian State Opera, she will make her first appearance as Mařenka in The Bartered Bride, followed by her debut at Dutch National Opera in a new production of Le nozze di Figaro as Susanna. She then returns to the Semperoper Dresden as Juliette in Roméo et Juliette and concludes her operatic season with a debut at the Festival de Santander (Spain), once again singing Pamina.

Recent highlights include her debuts at the Metropolitan Opera New York, the Royal Danish Opera, and at the festivals of Aix-en-Provence (France), Glyndebourne (United Kingdom), and Washington D.C. (USA).
