Alice McArthur
Alice McArthur began her dance training in New Zealand, later continuing her studies at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart. There, she choreographed a piece for the graduation performance, among others.
In the 2022/23 season, she joined the Stuttgart Ballet on an apprentice contract, performing in works by Edward Clug, John Cranko and John Neumeier. She was subsequently engaged by the Paris Opera Ballet, for whom she performed in Rudolf Nureyev's production of The Nutcracker. In 2024, she joined the Australian Ballet as a corps de ballet dancer. There, she performed in pieces by George Balanchine, Harald Lander, John Neumeier, Kenneth MacMillan, David McAllister, Christopher Wheeldon and Peter Wright.
She also performed pas de deux from Giselle and Le Corsaire alongside Daniil Simkin at the Ballet International Gala (BIG) in Melbourne.
Alice McArthur will join the corps de ballet of the Vienna State Ballet in the 2025/26 season.
