Alessandro Cavallo
Alessandro Cavallo was born in Brindisi, Italy, and began his dance training in 2011 at the Accademia Tersicore under the direction of Antonella Di Lecce. He graduated in 2016 with a degree from the Marika Besobrasova Foundation. In the same year, he was awarded a scholarship by Piotr Nardelli to study at the IBStage in Barcelona. He then entered the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan, appearing in numerous performances. In 2017, he received the Marika Besobrasova Gala Award. Two years later, he joined Balletto del Sud, directed by Fredy Franzutti, as a soloist. In 2021, he was a finalist on the Italian talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi. He joined the Béjart Ballet Lausanne that same year. He danced leading roles in Maurice Béjartʼs 7 danses grecques, Bakthi III, Concerto in ré pour violon and Le Presbytère (Radio Gaga). In 2024, he participated in the 17th World Ballet Festival in Tokyo.
He has been a demi-soloist with the Vienna State Ballet since the 2025/26 season.
