Anna Voshege is an Australian coloratura soprano of German descent. She studied in Melbourne before completing her Master’s degree in Voice with distinction at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

She has enjoyed success in the title role of Rossini’s Semiramide in Obersaxen, Switzerland, as Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier at Melbourne Opera, as the Controller in Jonathan Dove’s Flight at State Opera of South Australia, as Ernestine in Offenbach’s Monsieur Choufleuri restera chez lui le…, and in the title role of Franz von Suppé’s Die schöne Galathée at the Sommeroperette Heldritt in Germany.

Further engagements include the Ugly Stepsister Griselda in the world premiere of Alma Deutscher’s Cinderella, Konstanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail at Stadttheater Baden, the Queen of the Night at the National Theatre in Tirana, Albania, and Eurydice in Orpheus in the Underworld at the Bad Hall Festival.

Her repertoire also includes Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos), Morgana (Alcina), Musetta (La Bohème), Clorinda (La cenerentola), Adele (Die Fledermaus), Fiakermilli (Arabella), and the Forest Bird in Siegfried.

She made her debut at the Vienna State Opera in 2024 as Blonde in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, where she also appeared as the First Elf in Rusalka. She further performed the role of the Naiad in Ariadne auf Naxos at the Richard Strauss Festival in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.

Among the orchestras with which she has collaborated are the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Württemberg Philharmonic Reutlingen, the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, and the Morphing Chamber Orchestra.
