About the programme

He was at the director of the Vienna State Opera for 19 years, making him the opera house's longest-serving one. As a result, he shaped the fortunes of the opera house in many ways - intensively, but above all successfully. On the occasion of his upcoming 90th birthday, Ioan Holender talks to director Bogdan Roščić about his time as director in the Gustav Mahler Hall on June 28.

Depending on the size of the event, there are free checkrooms next to the entrances on the Operngasse side or directly in the Gustav Mahler Saal itself.

Punctuality

We kindly ask you to arrive punctually for the performances.
Admission is not possible after the start of the performance – with the exception of events organized by the Official Circle of Friends.

Admission

Admission is always from 30 minutes before the start of the performance.

For selected events, admission is possible from 1 hour before the start.
