These could be questions like those asked at Dialog am Löwensofa. It is a series of discussions in which experts from various fields such as art, journalism, psychology and science talk about topics from the world of opera and (performing) arts.

Exclusively for members of the Official Circle of Friends of the Vienna State Opera!

For most events in the Gustav Mahler-Saal, there is free seating.

Selected events in the Gustav Mahler Hall have a break.

You can find out whether the event you have booked has an interval directly via the service newsletter.

Events organized by the Official Circle of Friends do not have an interval.

Information about your visit

Wardrobe

Depending on the size of the event, there are free checkrooms next to the entrances on the Operngasse side or directly in the Gustav Mahler Saal itself.

Punctuality

We kindly ask you to arrive punctually for the performances.
Admission is not possible after the start of the performance – with the exception of events organized by the Official Circle of Friends.

Admission

Admission is always from 30 minutes before the start of the performance.

For selected events, admission is possible from 1 hour before the start.
