Paolo Fanale

The young Italian tenor PAOLO FANALE was born in Palermo and studied at the Vincenzo Bellini Conservatory. He made his professional opera debut as Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni) in Padua. In the meantime, he regularly performs on important stages, such as La Scala in Milan, the New York Metropolitan Opera, the Salzburger Festspiele, at the Luzern Festival, at the Opéra National de Paris, at the Bayerische and Berliner Staatsoper, at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, at the Liceu in Barcelona, at the Pariser Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, at the New National Theatre Tokyo, at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, in Verona, Valencia, Genua, Naples, Florence, Turin, Marseille, Monte Carlo. His repertoire includes parts such as Fenton, Roméo, Nemorino, Tamino, Pelléas, Ferrando, Belmonte, Rinuccio, Tebaldo (I Capuleti e i Montecchi), Gennaro (Lucrezia Borgia), Grimoaldo (Rodelinda), Edgardo, Faust, Rodolfo, Tito, Duca di Mantova, Nadir. Furthermore, Paolo Fanale also appears on concert stages. Up to now he has worked together with conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Daniele Gatti, James levine, Kurt Masur, Zubin Mehta, Daniel Oren, Antonio Pappano and Jordi Savall.
