
Duccio Tariello
The Italian Duccio Tariello completed his training in 2018 at the Tanz Akademie Zürich under the direction of Oliver Matz and Steffi Scherzer. In 2017 he won the silver medal at the international dance competition »Tanzolymp« in Berlin. In 2018/19 he became a member of the NRW Junior Ballet and danced in productions of the Dortmund Ballet and Opera, including »Inferno« and »Swan Lake« by ballet director Xinpeng Wang, »Black Swan« by Marco Goecke and in Philip Glass’ »Akhenaton« directed and choreographed by Giuseppe Spota. Since the 2020/21 season Duccio Tariello has been a member of the Corps the ballet of the Vienna State Ballet. His Viennese repertoire comprises friend of the prince in Rudolf Nureyev's »Swan Lake«, Jerome Robbins' »The Concert« and »Glass Pieces«, Lucinda Child's »Concerto«, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's »Große Fuge«, Hans van Manen's »Four Schumann Pieces«, John Cranko's »Onegin«, Frederick Ashton's »La Fille mal gardée«, Mark Morris' »Beaux«, choreographies by George Balanchine by Martin Schläpfer – such as two pairs in »The Sleeping Beauty« and »Lontano« –, as well as world premieres of Marco Goecke's »Fly Paper Bird« and Andrey Kaydanovskiy's »lux umbra«.
