Gaspare Li Mandri
The Italian Gaspare Li Mandri has started his ballet training in 2010 in Palermo with Marcello Carini. From 2016 to 2019, he studied at the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera and was a member of the Junior Company of the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera. Since December 2019 he has been dancing in the ensemble of the Vienna State Ballet. His repertoire comprises a page in Martin Schläpfer's world premiere of »Sleeping Beauty«, Sancho Panza in Rudolf Nureyevʼs »Don Quixote« as well as parts in Schläpfer's world premieres of »4«, »Neue Pizzicato-Polka« in »Marsch, Walzer, Polka« and »The Seasons «. Furthermore, he danced in George Balanchine’s »Jewels«, John Neumeier’s »Josephs Legende«, Pierre Lacotte’s »Coppélia«, Manuel Legris’ »Le Corsaire«, Jerome Robbins' »Glass Pieces«, Lucinda Childs' »Concerto«, John Cranko's »Onegin« and Rudolf Nureyev's »Swan Lake«.
