Aleksandar Orlić

Aleksandar Orlić was born in Vienna and educated at the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera where he danced in choreographies by Rafael Avnikjan, Peter Breuer, Lukas Gaudernak, Boris Nebyla, Eno Peci, Evelyn Téri and Renato Zanella as well as with the Vienna State Ballet in John Neumeier's »Le Pavillon d'Armide« and Frederick Ashton's »Marguerite and Armand«. After his successful graduation in 2019 he has been a member of the Junior Company of the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera for three months until getting a contract of the Vienna State Ballet in November 2019. He danced, among others, in Vesna Orlićʼs »Carmina Burana« and »Peter Pan« – such as Tigerlily's brother –, Lotte de Beer's & Andrey Kaydanovskiy's »Jolanthe and the Nutcracker«, Karole Armitageʼs »Ligeti Essays«, Martin Schläpfer's world premieres of »4« and »Sinfonie Nr. 15« as well as in »Ein Deutsches Requiem« and »Drittes Klavierkonzert«. Furthermore, he performed in musicals, operettas and operas at the Volksoper Wien.
