The Japanese Keisuke Nejime started his ballet training in Matsuyama (Japan). Further education he received at the Conservatory of the University of the City Vienna (2003-2009) and at the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera (2009-2011) with teachers such as Prof. Karl Musil, Prof. Evelyn Téri, Jolantha Seyfried, Simona Noja and Boris Nebyla. In the 2011/12 season he was a member of the Theaterclass of the Vienna State Ballet. Since the 2012/13 season he is dancing with the Vienna State Ballet. His most important roles comprise the title role in the premiere of Vesna Orlićʼs »Peter Pan«, Young Man in Orlićʼs »Carmina Burana«, Anastasie (stepsister) in Thierry Malandainʼs »Cendrillon (Aschenputtel)«, The Death in Malandainʼs »Don Juan«, Mercutio in Davide Bombanaʼs »Roméo et Juliette«, Japanese Jury in Maurice Béjartʼs »Le Concours« and parts in »Max und Moritz« by Ferenc Barbay & Michael Kropf, Andrey Kaydanovskiyʼs »The ugly Duckling« and Trevor Haydenʼs »Double Date«. Furthermore he performed in several musicals, operettas and operas at the Volksoper Vienna and operas at the Vienna State Opera. His awards comprise 3rd Prizes at the WienWeltWettbewerb 2014 and the Vienna International Ballet Experience 2016 (VIBE).
