Hanno Opperman

The South African Hanno Opperman started his vocational ballet training at the Royal Ballet School White Lodge in London and finished by graduating from The English National Ballet School. He worked with the Estonian National Ballet before joining the Vienna State Ballet in 2018. His repertoire comprises William Forsythe’s »Artifact Suite«, George Balanchine’s »Theme and Varations« and »Jewels«, Rudolf Nureyev’s »The Nutckracker«, »Raymonda«, »Swan Lake« and »Don Quixote«, Manuel Legris’ »Le Corsaire« and »Sylvia«, Edward Clug’s »Peer Gynt«, Lucinda Childs' »Concerto«, Merce Cunningham's »Duets«, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's »Große Fuge«, Mark Morris' »Beaux« as well as world premieres by Martin Schläpfer – such as a page in »The Sleeping Beauty« – and Pontus Lidberg's »Between Dogs and Wolves«.
