Zsófia Laczkó

Zsófia Laczkó was born in Budapest. She was educated at the Hungarian Dance Academy in Budapest (2008-2013) and the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg (2014-2016). In 2016 she became a member of the Vienna State Ballet. Her most important roles comprise Madame Elisabeth in Patrick de Banaʼs »Marie Antoinette«, Arabian Dance (soloist) in Rudolf Nureyev‘s »The Nutcracker«, Spanish Dancer in Nureyev‘s »Swan Lake«, Jiří Kyliánʼs »Symphony of Psalms«. Furthermore, she danced parts  in Rudolf Nureyev’s »Raymonda«, Elena Tchernichovaʼs »Giselle«, Manuel Legris’ »Le Corsaire« and »Sylvia«, John Cranko‘s »Onegin«, Kenneth MacMillan‘s »Concerto«, George Balanchineʼs »Symphony in C«, »Theme and Variations« and »Jewels«, John Neumeierʼs »Le Sacre«, Edward Clugʼs »Peer Gynt«, William Forsytheʼs »Artifact Suite«, Jerome Robbins »Glass Pieces« und »The Concert«, Hans van Manens »Four Schumann Pieces« as well as in Martin Schläpfers »4«, »Symphony Nr. 15«, »The Seasons« and »The Sleeping Beauty«.
