
Mark Lorimer
Mark Lorimer, born in England, trained at the London Contemporary Dance School and has since worked as a dancer, choreographer, teacher and rehearsal director. Since 1994 he has worked intensively with Rosas and Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, among others for the productions »Amor Constante Mas Alla De La Muerte«, »Kinok«, »Verklärte Nacht«, »Woud«, »Mikrokosmos«, »Un Moto Di Gioia - Mozart Concert Arias«, »In Real Time«, »Rain«, »Drumming«, »D'Un Soir Un Jour«, »Zeitung«, »The Song«, »En Atendant« and »Vortex Temporum«. In addition, he realized projects with Featherstonehaughs/ Lea Anderson, Cie. Michèle Anne De Mey, Bock and Vincenzi, Mia Lawrence, Deborah Hay, Jonathan Burrows, Clinton Stringer, Cynthia Loemij and Chrysa Parkinson. Mark Lorimer is a founding member of ZOO/Thomas Hauert. He has participated in six of the company's new productions and choreographed the piece »Nylon Solution«. Mark Lorimer teaches at ImpulsTanz, P.A.R.T.S., Laban Centre London and Movement Research/International Dance Dialogues New York.
