US-American tenor BRIAN JAGDE hails from New York City. He studied at Purchase College Conservatory of Music and has won multiple awards, for instance in the 2014 Loren L. Zachary Competition and Plácido Domingo’s Operalia 2012. Brian Jagde is a fellow of San Francisco Opera’s Adler and Merola Programs. At the same opera house, he has sung, among others, Cavaradossi (Tosca), Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Calaf (Turandot), Radames (Aida) and Don José (Carmen). He has also performed at Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, the New York Met, Washington National Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Zurich Opera, Seattle Opera, Teatro Massimo Palermo, Hamburgische Staatsoper, Palau de les Arts in Valencia, Bolshoi Theatre Moscow, Arena di Verona, Teatro Real in Madrid, Lyric Opera Chicago, Bayerische Staatsoper and Teatro San Carlo in Naples. He is scheduled to appear in Barcelona (as Enzo Grimaldo), Paris (Don Alvaro), Amsterdam (Turiddu), Chicago (Pinkerton), New York and London (both, Cavaradossi) and in Amsterdam (Prince).
