Soprano JENNIFER DAVIS was born in Ireland and graduated from Jette Parker Young Artist Programme. Soon she was performing at Royal Opera House Covent Garden, where she portrayed Adina in L’elisir d’amore, First Lady in Die Zauberflöte, Ifigenia in Oreste, Arbate in Mitridate, re di Ponto and Inès in Il trovatore. The first time she sang Elsa at Covent Garden was in 2018, and she appeared in the same role at Opera Vlaanderen and Staatsoper Stuttgart. In London, she also performed Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel. She sang Donna Anna in Don Giovanni at Opera North, First Lady at Welsh National Opera, and Pamina at Irish National Opera. Upcoming engagements include Contessa d’Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro at San Francisco Opera and Elsa at Opera Australia, Gran Teatre del Liceu in Lisbon and Deutsche Oper Berlin. The young singer performs on concert stages, too, for instance with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic and with Accademia Santa Cecilia.
