FABIO SARTORI was born in Treviso. He sang minor roles at Teatro La Fenice before making his debut as Rodolfo in 1995/1996. His interpretation of Macduff at the opening of the 1997 season of Teatro alla Scala in Milan was a true milestone. Since then, he has been performing regularly at leading opera houses, including Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Arena di Verona, Berlin Staatsoper and Deutsche Oper Berlin, Budapest Spring Festival, Liceu in Barcelona, Moscow Bolshoi Theatre, Teatro Real in Madrid, in Los Angeles, Frankfurt, Torino, Bologna, Florence. His schedule for the next few months includes appearances as Manrico at Berlin Staatsoper, Opéra Royal de Wallonie, Cavaradossi in Berlin and at Liceu, Calaf at Bayerische Staatsoper, Carlo (I masnadieri) in Valencia and at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Otello at Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, and Macduff at Berlin Staatsoper. At Vienna State Opera, Fabio Sartori made his debut in 1999 as Carlo in Linda di Chamounix, and since then he has also sung Rodolfo, Gabriele Adorno and, most recently, Radames in 2016.
