Daniel Behle

DANIEL BEHLE’s extensive repertoire ranges from Baroque masterpieces, Classical and Romantic works to compositions of the 20th and 21st centuries. In 2017, he made his debut as David in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg at Bayreuth Festival. Following this, he toured Japan with Bayerische Staatsoper (The Magic Flute). In 2018, he sang the role of Erik in Der fliegende Holländer at Hamburgische Staatsoper and Giacomo in La donna del lago at Opéra de Lausanne. In 2017, Daniel Behle made his debut with the Berliner Philharmoniker. Under Christian Thielemann, he sang Beethoven’s Missa solemnis. Among his most recent and future engagements are performances as Belmonte (Munich, Brussels, Berlin, Aix en Provence), Henry Morosus (Munich), Matteo (Dresden, Paris, Munich), Erik (Frankfurt, Hamburg), Max (Hamburg), Loge (Baden-Baden), Ferrando (Royal Opera House Covent Garden), Tamino (Berlin), Oronte (Brussels, Amsterdam), Flamand (Theater an der Wien), Froh (Bayreuth), King’s Son in The King’s Children (Dresden), Max (Stuttgart), David (Wiesbaden). At Vienna State Opera he sang the role of Nemorino in 2007.
