Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera

The Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera stands for excellent training in classical and contemporary dance.

Our aim is to offer young talents from all over the world a platform on which they can develop their full artistic and personal potential. Respect, professionalism and a deep connection to the Viennese dance tradition form the foundation of our work.

Registration is now open! We are accepting audition materials for Video Pre-Selection for the 30 November 2025 audition for ages 14 – 17.
The deadline for video submission is 7 November 2025.
Applicants invited to the live/private audition will be notified by 10 November 2025.

  1. Complete video pre-selection registration form.
  2. Payment information: Please transfer the application fee of €75 (Euros) to the following account:

  3. Please submit video as follows:
    A YouTube or Vimeo link (not older than one month) with a total length of about 15 minutes and no longer than 20 minutes (see details on the registration form).
  4. Please submit photos together with the registration form (see details on the registration form).
  5. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Dancers selected from the video pre-selection will receive further details about registering for the live/private audition taking place on 30 November 2025.
