On the road with Tschick!
On 20 and 21 May, around 80 young performers and the Vienna State Opera's stage orchestra invite you to an »outdoor music theatre performance walk«, a form of performative station theatre: On the road with Tschick. In addition to the community ensemble of the Vienna State Opera, participants include several cooperation partners of the Haus am Ring, including Superar, the Austrian Red Cross, mdw and Jugend am Werk.
A road trip by four friends becomes a ritual: every year in May they go away for a few days. Always with them: the diary of Juno - a friend who is no longer with them, but who goes along on the trip anyway. On the road with Tschick is a play about friendship, shared memories and dealing with grief and loss.
On the road with Tschick is suitable for visitors aged 13 and over.
In cooperation with Kunstplatz Karlsplatz, Künstlerhaus, mdw, Österreichisches Rotes Kreuz, Jugend am Werk, Superar, the project schools and with the kind support of the OeAD.
