Participatory youth projects in the Kulturhaus Brotfabrik
Dance lab young! For 7-12-year olds
In the young dance lab we dance, play theater, and develop our own small dance piece around the ballet Giselle. Special highlight: We are visited by artists of the Vienna State Ballet.
The project is free of charge and is aimed at everyone between the ages of 7-12. Special previous knowledge is not required. Regular participation in rehearsals is a requirement.
Kick-off and getting to know each other: Monday, October 9, 2023 at Kulturhaus Brotfabrik.
Weekly rehearsals: every Monday 17.00-18.15 at the Kulturhaus Brotfabrik, 1100 Vienna

Dance Lab! For 15-24-year olds
Shifting Symmetries – finding your (off)-balance.
In the dance lab you will dance and improvise together, will develop your own movement material and different choreographies in the ensemble. This process will be inspired by the dance evening shifting symmetries by the Vienna State Ballet. At the end of the project, the dance theater piece will be performed on stage with live music.
Joint ballet visits and meet and greets with artists of the Vienna State Ballet are part of the dance lab.
The project is free of charge and open to all dance enthusiasts between the ages of 15 and 24. Previous experience is not required, regular participation in rehearsals is a requirement.
Kick-off and getting to know each other: Thursday, October 12, 2023.
Weekly rehearsals: every Thursday 6.30-8.30 p.m. at Kulturhaus Brotfabrik, 1100 Vienna
