DMITRY BELOSSELSKIY is one of the most sought-after basses of his generation. His career thus far has seen him perform regularly at the Met, La Scala, the Salzburg Festival, at both the Bavarian and Berlin State Opera, Zurich Opera house, Paris Opéra, Théâtre Antique d'Orange, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Opera in Rome, and in Washington, Toronto and Valencia. His most recent engagements include: a tour of Asia and Moscow with La Scala Milan, performances at the New York Metropolitan Opera (Aida, Nabucco), Bavarian State Opera (Title role in Boris Godunow), Lyric Opera of Chicago (Eugen Onegin), Maggio Maggio Musicale in Florence (Don Carlo) and at the Salzburg Festival (new production of Aida). In the near future, Dmitry Belosselskiy will be performing as the Grand Inquisitor (in the French production of Don Carlos) in Paris, as Ivan Susanin (A life for the Tsar) in Frankfurt and as Wurm (Luisa Miller) at the New York Metropolitan Opera. Dmitry Belosselskiy made his debut performance at the Vienna State Opera in 2014 as Zaccaria in Nabucco and last sang the role of Iwan Chowanski in Chowanschtschina.
