KS Peter Seiffert studied at the Musikhochschule Dusseldorf. He was first engaged at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein. As awardee Deutsche Musikrat competition, engagements in the whole of Europe followed. His engagement at the Deutschen Oper Berlin, where he was heard as Lohengrin, was the start of his international career. At the Wiener Staatsoper, KS Peter Seiffert gave his debut in 1984 as Matteo (Arabella) and has since also sung (partly also in new productions) as Hans, Tamino, Turiddu, Florestan, Erik, Max, Lohengrin, Parsifal, Stolzig, Tristan, Otello, Tannhäuser and Siegmund.
