Kevin Hena

The Italian-Albanian dancer received his training at the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera and in 2018 and 2019 in summer courses at the Royal Ballet School and BiellaDanza. After his successful graduation, he was accepted into the Youth Company of the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera in September 2021. Since February 2023 he has been a member of the of the corps de ballet of the Vienna State Ballet. He danced at Vienna State Opera in the Matinees of the Ballet Academy in Peter Breuer’s Bolero (2019) and Martin Schläpfer’s Jamie (2022) as well as in the 2019 Opera Ball, in Rudolf Nureyev’s The Nutcracker and Swan Lake, Martin Schläpfer’s Sleeping Beauty and Die Jahreszeiten, Frederick Ashton’s La Fille mal gardée, in the opera Aida and the operetta Die Fledermaus. At the Vienna Volksoper, Kevin Hena has danced in Martin Schläpfer’s Ein Deutsches Requiem as well as in Anatevka, La traviata and Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor.
