Bass ANATOLI SIVKO was born in Belarus and studied singing at Belarusian State Academy of Music in Minsk from 2008 to 2013. He was then engaged as soloist at the local Bolshoi Theatre of Opera and Ballet. Anatoli Sivko has received highly acclaimed awards at the International Francisco Viñas singing competition (2015, first prize) and the Neue Stimmen competition (2016, first prize), among others. In 2011 he took part in the Salzburg Festival Young Singers Project. Roles such as Attila in Verdi’s opera by the same name, King René in Iolanta, or Zuniga in Carmen took him to leading opera companies such as Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, Concertgebouw Amsterdam and Zurich Opera House. In the 2015/2016 season, he guest performed at Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, making his debut in Un ballo in maschera and further smaller roles. He has also appeared as Leporello and Colline at Liceu, as Don Basilio at Glyndebourne and as Masetto at ROH Covent Garden. Anatoli Sivko widely sings in recitals and concerts.
