Order and purchase tickets from the Vienna State Opera. You can purchase tickets before they are available at the box office.
In advance booking, the Seating chart can be used to purchase seats at a performance in any price category.
Normally, only regular tickets are available for advance booking. For some performances, there are also additional offers such as discounts on tickets for children. Special offers can be selected for every seat. For every offer, the prices are displayed in color according to price categories. A maximum of 5 discounted seats can be selected.

Stand-by ticket:
With performances, it often occurs that - although the performance is not released for general advance booking, or the performance is already sold out - tickets become available. With a stand-by ticket, you are entered into a waiting list as a potential customer. In case tickets become available for the desired performance in the desired price category (or with an additional fee) etc. these are assigned to you and charged.
