ADVANCE TICKET SALES:
Tickets for the Vienna State Opera can normally be purchased from the ticket offices one month before the date of the performance (e.g. on 1st September for 1st October, on 30th September for 30th and 31st October). Tickets for performances from 1st to 30th September are on sale from 1st to 30th June. The availability of seats in some price categories may be reduced for subscription and cycle performances. Arrangements for ticket sales for 31st December and particulary popular performances are published separately.

WRITTEN TICKET ORDERS from the Austrian provinces and from abroad can be sent to the Vienna State Opera ticket offices, Hanuschgasse 3, 1010 Vienna, at any time, but no later than three weeks before the date of the performance. Fax (+43/1) 514 44/2969

REDUCTIONS FOR CHILDREN:
A maximal of 100 tickets, but no fewer than 25, are allocated to children below the age of 14 for every performance except premières. These tickets can be purchased at a flat rate of € 15 (regardless of the price category selected), and are available from the ticket offices the day ticket sales for the desired performance commence. Written ticket orders may also be made from the Austrian provinces and abroad.

LAST-MINUTE TICKETS:
If tickets are still available for a performance, some of these tickets will be available for purchase at the standard price of € 30,- the day before the performance from any ticket office from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m. (Saturday, Sunday and holidays 9 a.m. till 12 noon) and from the information office in the arcades of the Vienna State Opera (Monday to Friday 9.30 a.m. till 2 p.m., Saturday 9.30 a.m. till 12 noon). TICKETS FOR STANDING ROOM are available only from the evening box office. The box office opens 80 minutes before the performance starts.

STANDING ROOM SEASON PASS:
Standing room season passes for the 2003/2004 season are available at the ticket offices, Operngasse 2, 1010 Vienna, and cost € 60. Presentation of such a pass enables the holder to purchase one standing room ticket per performance (including advance ticket sales) up until 12 noon on the day of the desired performance.

STANDING ROOM VOUCHERS FOR BALCONY AND GALLERY:
A booklet containing 50 standing room vouchers (value: € 100) can be purchased from the ticket offices, Operngasse 2, 1010 Vienna, for a price of € 75. The vouchers can be used for standing room in the balcony and gallery in the 2003/2004 season.
